Dane, this was some great advice. I think you stand alone in your thinking which makes it even better. I think most people are saying to go ahead and mimic and copy what I’m doing. But I think you give the best advice to do what you are most qualified to do. It is only going to make you miserable doing what you weren’t created to do. Love the infomercial too!!

so true – it’s easy to look around and feel inadequate because all of “the successful” people are selling something other than wedding or portrait photography. thanks!

Loved these – and love the help from one photographer to another – Working on finding the right people to do my editing – very hard – but working on it ….
Thanks for your help!

Loved what bit I was able to catch from the show today! The first part is clipped on the replay, though. I had to go out and run an errand with the fiancee right at 3:30 PM…
Take care,

Hey Dane, really loving this web coaching thing. Last week I kept thinking “Gee, I wish this was an hour long.” I want you to mine every nugget possible but you are so right about giving us just enough. I mull it around, discuss it to my manager, mull it around some more and make it my own. Thanks so much for being such an inspiration.
I was wondering if there is an archive for the previous webcasts. I stupidly didn’t save the MP3s.

Dane – Great advise… again!
I love that you’re not afraid to tell everyone to stop trying to be everyone ELSE! I think that’s a good recipe for finding your niche in whatever market you’re in.
Keep up the great work!
God bless,
-Mark

this was great, Dane. I love your insight. “What experience were you made to create.” – this really resonates with me. I think it’s the one thing that can drive an entire business. Thanks!

Did you seriously just invent a word to surpass Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (pronounced /ˌsuːpɚˌkælɪˌfrædʒəlˌɪstɪkˌɛkspiːˌælɪˈdoʊʃəs/). Wikipedia indicate they believe that it is a fair assumption that this word is an adjective. Your word seemed to be a noun. I certainly hope so as Mary Poppins may offer you more than a spoonful of sugar if you knock her out for longest adjective. .. ;) I do feel kinda bad for the gobee and b school. Surely they could have slipped into the subliminal messaging there?
