Episode 13 – It Takes a Village
- March 24th, 2009No one makes “themselves” in this industry… at least not if they are hoping to be relevant for the long haul. Do we work hard? Yep. Is it tireless? Totally. Do we do it alone? Not possible.
And even if we could, how awful would that be?
I know for me, the one person I’ve collaborated with most in the last 18 months (that has yielded the most ROI) has been Gary Sikes of Elevation. I”ve also noticed that more people are asking questions about branding than ever before. This is good news but just because you’re asking doesn’t mean you’re getting the good stuff.

Hey Dane. These tidbits are really cool. I have a question. If you’re a photographer that has a day job in the corporate world… How do you know when it’s time to take the leap and go full time with wedding photography?

Good point Dane…it’s like being a good listener, not just hearing but actually listening to someone. Learning is a lifelong process…I learned something today :)

Just a technical side note, your voice audio was only on the Right channel. It was weird when I had only the Left earphone in. The intro and end music is stereo but the voice was only on the right.
